Patterdale School

Patterdale School is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School catering for children from four to eleven years of age. The School was first built in 1873 and relies on the generous support of well wishers to provide a number of extra activities and facilities for the children. If you would like to find out more details please click here.

Patterdale Mountain Rescue

The Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team, one of the busiest voluntary search and rescue teams in England. It is an entirely voluntary organisation supported by donations. Whilst the Boundary Walk does not explicitly raise funds for the team, we would like to formally thank them for their work throughout the year, and in supporting the walk. If you would like to make a direct donation, please click here.

The Patterdale Parish Boundary Walk takes place on the first Saturday in July every year. This annual event is a lot of fun (and a little painful) for those taking part and raises much needed funds for St Patrick’s Church in Patterdale and the Patterdale Church of England Primary School.

There are 3 separate walks covering from 7 to 30 miles to encourage more people to take part. If you’d like to join one of these walks (or runs!) please contact us. Please note you must register an interest before the end of June 2020 to take part. Alternatively if you can’t participate but would like to sponsor one of the teams, please click on one of the links below.

Participants will be sent a paper sponsorship form when they register an interest. YOU CAN NOW DONATE ONLINE VIA THE LINK BELOW. Please send all other donations direct to Patterdale Parish Boundary Walk, c/o Patterdale CofE Primary School, Patterdale, Cumbria, CA11 0NL. Cheques made payable to “Patterdale PCC” or “Patterdale School Support Group”
