Day 26, Ilam to Millers Dale. Stepping stones at Dovedale. If you ever walk just 2 miles in our E2E footsteps, you will do no better than discover the wonderful little valley of Dovedale. 412 miles done ~ 641 to go.
Day 27, Millers Dale to Edale. On top of 'Mam Tor' ~ today this was so windy that it was hard to stay on our feet. This wonderful lady is Joyce and she joined us for the day. Her inspirational story will be in the book.
Day 28, Edale to Crowden. Steph joins the walkers for the next 240 miles at start of The Pennine Way.
Day 29, Crowden to Standedge. Kevin joins us for the first half of The Pennine Way. Our tents are pitched in a most unusual location tonight. We are inside a cricket ground ~ and there is a match on. We set our tents, bought a beer and joined the crowd!
